Our house is for sale.
Yes, in preparation for the move to the Hat (Medicine Hat, Alberta, for those not in the know), we have listed our house for sale. Have a look around.
Puppet Mike is on the shelf, but alas, I didn't know the photographer would be set up on the other side of the room, so he doesn't show up. Damn.
I shall refer to our impending move as Preparation "H". Bwa. Ha. Ha.

So... where's all the dog hair?
all swept up..and the cats are all in the basement going "wtf?"
Too bad the footage didn't have an audio file. Then you could have sounds of really pissed off cats coming from the basement.
BTW, why Medicine Hat?
Nathan and Tamara, friends of ours, are from/have lived there, and plan to go back when circumstances permit, and Tamara told Allie that they're going to hassle us to go with them. We went down on a whim one weekend, and Allie had so much good luck talking with the hospital, care centres, etc. about work, that it snowballed, and we made our plans. We'll probably be there two whole years or more before N&T.
Plus, there's a chance to get a neat-o character home for a lot less money, and in a lot better neighbourhood, than you could find here in Edmonton.
We're both ready for the change, and we are both looking forward to a slower pace, and smaller city, at least for awhile.
