OK, today is YouTube day, here at Man, That Is Very Good.

Last one for now...it always amazed me that Billy Bob Thronton has never looked the same to me in any movie since Sling Blade. I figured it was the weight, his overall health, or whatever. I didn't think he could possibly ever look like Karl again.

It's all in the face...as Karl meets Napoleon Dynamite.

Cool, I thought we were on the "several month delayed broadcast schedule" for Battlestar Galactica Season 3. It actually airs on Space on Oct 7, a mere day after the SciFi channel premiere.

I'm not so sure Spiderman 3 is going to be that good, after all.

I think the special effects need to be upgraded.
And, think the second-unit director, who does the "crafty trap" scenes, needs firing.

Seriously, though, the first one is still better than the American Spiderman TV show from the '70's. Well, if not better, less action-defiecient, anyways.

Ironically, this show's action actually got better when they brought in some Asian influences, and started having some fun with it.

Just because it's funny. (from Fark.com)

I wish I could do that. Imagine the possibilties. Link has video goodness (well, kinda weak video goodness. It has another picture of this freak, anyways.)

No one out there has a 5 volt, 2.5 amp power supply for a wireless router that they're not using, do they? Ours burnt out, and thus, no wireless at home right now. I'm having a hell of a time finding one. I was sure I could find a universal p/s, but even the ones you can switch the voltage, seem to come with standard (too low) amps.

Yes, it is kinda turning into a proud daddy blog, isn't it?

Holly tries rice pablum. From what we can tell, she actually swallowed some.

Work has been ridiculously busy. Hopefuly, the fact that I have a minute to breathe right now means that it will be a normal pace for awhile.

Anyways, Vancouver (area) was fun.
Wedding was great..pic doesn't do justice the the scenerey of the back yard where the wedding was held, but you get the idea.

Everybody loved da baby.

Last day, we drove to North Vancouver and spent the afternoon at Lonsdale Quay before heading back to Abbotsford to catch our 7:00 PM flight.

And then, at the airport, I proved that quick, talentless Photoshopping could be used for more than adding James Brown to photos.

Well, in addition to, anyways.

That's Allie's mom, by the way, for those that don't know. I have a classic mouth-open, sleeping-in-the-car photo of her, but to preserve my life, I won't be posting it. Until a later date, anyways.

It kinda looks like this. (scroll down for pic)

Yeah, I know, it's been awhile. Been a bit busy. School started this week, so basically, I've had more do to, and had to do it faster, in the last three days (plus registration the week before) than I basically had to do all summer. Overall it wen't pretty smooth, but a lineup of 12 people with laptops that need to be set up, as well as all the passwords they forgot over the summer, while at the same time getting calls from instructors that they can't get their laptop to work with the projector in the classroom...well, it was busy, let's just leave it at that.

For C&D's benefit, I will start posting weekly pictures of the Holly-bear.

I hope you have all had enough of the Chuck Norris facts, because I have been tired of them for three months. They will go bye-bye at my next earliest convenience.

We are off to vancouver later today for Allie's cousin's wedding. They used to live in Vancouver, moved to Calgary, then moved to Toronto, and are getting married back in Vancouver. We'll get three full days there, plus this evening and Monday morning. Not sure if we'll have a chance to do anything outside of wedding stuff, if we get to go anywhere like Granville Island, Lonsdale Quay, or anything else, that would be cool.

I started English 101 yesterday. I don't like the once-per-week classes very much, but at least I won't be over worked. It's 6 credits, so it goes until April. If the first term goes well, I will see if I can take another class or two in winter. If I can follow that up with more in spring and summer, I may actually get my whole first year under my belt before September. (I have three classes done already). wOOT for me.

Cats n dogs are all fine. My lovely niece Lisa is cat sitting for us, and the dogs are going to the kennel, which, surprisingly, they don't hate, but usually end up having a great time.

I am really jonesing to go out for a beer with Mukey and Tbit. Marmy too. We should all plan to meet in Halifax next year and descend upon Count Joseph.

On that note, seeya when we're back from the coast.
